We should love God and hate sin.
We are to care for animals and be good stewards of the animals and the land. We will be held responsible and accountable for how we cared for the animals and the land. We are to be good stewards.
We should hate the sin in our lives, not the sin in the lives of others.
David had many wives and the Bible tells of them. Some people think this condones polygamy or the marriage of one man to many wives. David had many family problems, with his many children, from his many wives.
When the Bible speaks of a man running to be ‘under the wings of the Lord’, it means running to the Lord for shelter and protection.
David had the heart of the Lord partly in that, every time he failed or sinned, he would get up, dust off, and come and ask for forgiveness.
It is not how many times we have fallen, but ‘have we gotten up, every time we messed up?’, is the real
question.
